With the beautiful summer weather here in the Shenandoah Valley, you can’t ask for a better time to spend a few hours or the entire day outside. If you want to get a lot of exercise, you can hike, kayak, canoe or go for a swim. But here are some other ideas that you might find interesting too.

Explore History in the Shenandoah Valley

While visiting the Inn, there are lots of outdoor activities to enjoy within a short drive such as The Frontier Culture Museum.

You’ll take in the historical way of life of many farms from all over the world! Enjoy a guided group tour or trek on your own as long as you stop to smell the flowers. The farms will remind you of how life used to be and all of the hard work it took on a daily basis.
